Monday Morning Momentum: ENERGY BOOSTERS

I don’t know about you, but this morning has been slow moving. How do you get your energy going when you feel down? Do you drink coffee, grab a muffin or energy drink?

I want to share my Top 3 Energy Boosters:

  1. Exercise: Just walk up and down a few hills for 30 minutes and you will completely change your body chemistry. Even if you missed it this morning, join me tonight after work as I grab my tennis shoes and puppies for a walk.
  2. Protein Shake: Make a clean smoothie with a little protein powder (no artificial sweeteners) Take 1/2 a banana, fresh/frozen berries, 1 cup of almond milk, coconut milk, handful of spinach and your favorite protein powder. Energy ready to go…
  3. Quiet Time: Take 10-15 minutes and pray, reflect, quiet your mind and check in with your body. What are the plans or ideas that keep popping up in your mind? What are God’s plans for you today?
