Detox Day 6: Stay on Track

Hi Friends,

Can you believe it’s been 6 days! I am starting to get too comfortable. That could be a good thing; however, I almost got derailed.  Yesterday, I was with a friend who updated my professional pictures and gave me some new options. It was an all day adventure because it takes a village to get me dressed. It was a totally fun day, but by 4pm I was hungry. I mean really hungry. Thankfully, we were in Malibu and decided to stop and have green smoothies on the way home. We stopped at this great health food store; and, as I was walking the aisles to find my son a snack, I saw all the things I wanted to eat. My green smoothie came to the rescue, ironically it was called The Hulk! Kale never tasted to good! It had kale, almond butter, almond milk, cinnamon and a dash of agave nectar. IT tasted AMAZING!!! It tasted so good, how could it be legal? But, thankfully, it was!

So, if this happens to you and you’re almost ready to say forget it, and you just eat whatever…get back on TRACK! Stay the course! We are almost there. Have you noticed there are so many healthy alternatives to foods you really enjoy. When the detox ends, Tawnie, from the Healing Heart Vitamin Store, is going to teach us how to make raw, organic chocolate truffles that are amazing. A healthy alternative to chocolate yet it will not cause havoc in the body. I will keep you posted!

Today’s verse: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him and he will make your paths straight.” (Proverbs 3:6)

Let’s Pray:

Lord, help us to stay on track today. Help us to keep You in our presence moment by moment today. Help us to not lean on our own strength, because many times we fail. I thank you and praise you for everyone who reads these words. I pray for them and their family. I pray for healing in their body and direction for the path they need to walk. We are all on different paths and journeys; yet, I am so grateful you know every step we take! I am humbled and grateful for this week. I pray for those in our lives that are struggling with major illness or disease. Help guide them in the path You want them to take, so they may be healed and healthy again. In Jesus precious name, we pray, Amen!

Have a blessed day ladies and gentlemen! Send me your funny stories or Aha moments you want to share with our group!

Love you lots,

Dr. Angie
