Detox Day 5: Grace

Today is a NEW day. The big day 5! I am so glad for those who have committed to this program. But here’s the reality! You have to give yourself GRACE and say to yourself,  “way to go.” You are not going to be perfect on this program. I want you to look at the big picture. Especially, if this is your first detox program. Where you are now or 5 days ago, is going to be better in 5 more days. Give it your best effort possible. I know some of you are shocked your doing so well. Some of you may be still a bit hungry and need to make adjustments. That is totally OK! Look at what you have accomplished so far and we are half way there. No caffeine, No dairy, No meat, No carbs. You have replaced all those things for fruits, veggies and so much more.

I have to share with you a friend on the program has done everything great to the tee. All the supplements, all the veggies, all the protein shakes, she really has rocked it. You know what, she ate half a bagel the other day and she said it was like heaven. Is she going to Detox Jail? NO! She is moving her body 8-9 hours a day. She has physical fitness job, and she moved on! Her aha moment was wow, I really can add more veggies in my day after this program is over. She also commented on how much easier the shakes were and she has been getting quite creative with them. They are getting so good, her kids are stealing them from her. What a great example of GRACE. I want you to focus on the 80 or 99% good you have done and please do not condemn yourself for the unauthorized food bite that may have hit your lips.

I am so excited you have joined me on this adventure. I pray the next 5 days are going to show you the new changes you want to make in your life. Give yourself Grace, stay focused, but please do not stress out about this process. You are doing so much better than you think.

I read this, this morning: The Lord said, “My Grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me. That’s why I take pleasure in my weaknesses, and in the insults, hardships, persecutions, and troubles that I suffer for Christ. For when I am weak, then I am strong. (2 Corinthians 12:9-10)

I hope this encourages you today…can I pray for you?

Gracious Heavenly Father,

Thank you so much for all you have taught us this week. Thank you for being our strength in our weaknesses. Lord, I ask you to give us supernatural strength today in all that we do. Whether we are cleaning our house, making dinner for our family, or working on things for our jobs. Lord, I just ask you to shine through us today, knowing we have you in our lives. Show us any adjustments we need to make with our diet today. Help us to make this the most productive detox time ever! In Jesus Name, Amen…

I hope you have an awesome day…keep me posted of anything that comes up.

Love you lots,

Dr. Angie
