Detox Day 2: Be Prepared

Be PREPARED

Congrats everyone,

Day one is under our belt! And now, we have figured out what we can and cannot eat. I enjoyed a delicious dinner of sautéed mushrooms, onions, garlic, broccoli with liquid aminos. (A healthy alternative to soy sauce, check it out). I combined the leftover lentils from lunch and BAM! Dinner! My husband loved it! I heard many of you had great recipes for lentils. Keep it up!

The reality of detox really hit me in standing in line at Michael’s Craft Store. I was surrounded by every version of chocolate that was out for Christmas. Wow, it was a moment of reality! But I made it just fine. Make sure you keep your snacks on you and ready.

I was in Sprouts shopping, when I could feel my blood sugar drop. These are the moments when you can easily break your detox by eating something off the menu. PREPARED equals SUCCESS!

I want to share our verse for today. It happens to be my LIFE verse. I hope it helps you today:

Lord, your discipline is good, for it leads to life and health. You restore my health and allow me to live!” (Isaiah 38:16)

Heavenly Father,

Thank you for your discipline. Thank you for this time of detoxifying our bodies to create space for healing in our life, both emotionally and physically. Lord, I thank you for everyone who may read these words. May it encourage them whether they are on the program or not. Help us to commit this day to YOU! Show us when we need to surrender and give things to you completely! I pray for a successful, smooth day. I pray for clarity, rest, and rejuvenation, in Jesus Precious name, Amen.
